Hi y'all! Just wanted to give you fine St. Louisans a taste of what you are missing this weekend. Well, Tom & Clyde J. and Steve F. decided to make the trek, saw them both last night and today. Met up with a few ffcobra.com forum guys, which is always kinda neat when you put a face to a screen name.

The weather is just about perfect if not a touch too warm. Lots of beautiful cars as always - cobras, coupes, and a few GT-40's made the trip. Factory Five was present with their GTM showroom car, the Hot Rod (1 week build) and a couple of other cars, and a few local companies (Aesthetic Finishers, etc.) and that was about it. I can't compare to years past as this was my first but the attendance still seemed good despite the economy.

Well, here are a few pictures to wet your whistle...

And yes, that is Michelle and Liam trying out the fit of the GTM. She told me that it would be okay to build her one of these for my next project!

did ur wife have to crawl in the GTM:rolleyes:
i had a hard time when i was at F5R the leg rooms great though but my head hit the ceiling,
i hate that in a car, the coupe too,is hard to climb into but who cares once she is fired up and on the road......what's behind me don't matter":p
i bet the rumble of the show was nice...did u take urs in the rat-rod stage no paint but plenty of charm:rolleyes:

Hey Scotty I see ya took a pic of Mr. Jackson's cobra. What did ya think?

It was nice, Michelle and I both liked it, but we want something Jazzier now. We both like these colors, a twist on the traditional Cobra Blue.

BTW - The Coupe was raffled off tonight. The lucky winner of this car was some guy in Cincinatti, who was not at the show, and apparently bought his ticket at an Auto Show a few months back. He asked how much the taxes were going to be...
Sorry to see nobody from the show, or forums won the coupe. Here it is at the show today (and yes that is Bob Bondurant giving the thumbs up standing behind #5):

And for Tim...some videos were taken on my phone of the charity drags, but they were poor. This one is good though, take a look.

She said it fit just fine, just no place to put groceries (I know Mike D. is rolling over in his garage now at this statement).

No, didn't take my car. It is still not street legal, and have a few issues to resolve before I will take it on any trips for the time being. I think my car felt left out sitting at home today in a dark and hot garage being ignored when so many of it's cousins were less than 30 miles away...

Almost looks like it's frowning at me :(

There were some "interesting" paint jobs there......

There is probably no better place to pick your colors.
