Tablet. This could be interesting. Bought this - http://usa.asus.com/Eee/Eee_Pad/Eee_Pad_Transformer_TF101/

It's gotten some great reviews, hope I can adapt. No cd drive, no usb ports, only an HDMI port and a slot for micro SD cards. Now, if I want to edit photo's or video's, I have to use my desktop downstairs. I don't think it will be too big of an adjustment.

Tim,

Let me know how you like it. I have been wanting to get one for a while.

My only issue is I run AutoCAD at home also, and I don't think they would handle that large of a program well, as I have to buy an above standard laptop to handle it.

I'm interested to see your thoughts on the tablet!

So far so good for what I want to use it for. This one has an available docking station that would basically convert it to a small laptop, but without the computing power. If you need something that you just want to read e-mails and surf the net with, this is great. However, if you want to edit documents, pictures, video or run some other memory hog program, this isn't it. It's small, convenient, and basically does what I want it to do for a smaller price than a new laptop. I'm in front of the desktop basically all day, so posts on forums, image edits or other things I can do during the day. I just wanted something that was portable and I could look something up fast.
