Do you have an iPhone? There are some lap programs available on iTunes.

Don't know if Android has them

I have a complete lap timer system that I don't use anymore. I bought it before I bought my transponder. It is the Hot Lap timer from longacre. I'll try to post some pictures or send you a text.
 
Paul, no, don't have an I-phone, but have found apps like this would eat a battery. Just rather have something dedicated.

Dean, sounds good. Transponder, not every track uses a system to track those, do they?
 
Most tracks have transponders but not turned on for some track days like the Putnam park events. They aren't real crazy about lap timing. It has something to do with insurance.

I have a Digidash Pro2 system in the new project. It has a mapping program based on a GPS antenna. It will keep all your driving data like the traqmate system. That's why I don't use the hot lap timer anymore.
 
What do you think about the Aim Solo I've linked to above?
 
So, looks like Harry's has expanded to Android. Steve, I know you used Harry's Lap timer, what, besides your phone, do you need? I think the I-Phone has a built in gyro that it uses? http://www.gps-laptimer.de/
