I don't think this guy has a web site. Herb Klein is the guys name, it is behind his house. He does 300+ mounts a year and farms. He used to be on Kaskaskia Island before the flood.

Board: 39

$100 down payment

I drove down to meet him tonight and came away impressed. The work I saw looked great. The pricing he quoted is in line with what you reported. I have no idea why the web site I found was so different.

In any event I am delivering the rack and cape to him tomorrow. It looks like July before it will be finished but I'm more interested in a quality mount and not a quick turnaround.

BTW. Kathy and I had dinner at Midway on 32 and a number of the mounts in the bar were done by Herb. We spoke to the owner and two patrons that had mounts done by Herb and received glowing reviews of his work.

A good find....Thank you for the tip.

Check your math on your cost...It is off by $10.

Glad to help out Kerry. BTW, did you notice the washing machine box full of redman wrappers!!!

You know, I never checked the math, I just coppied it striaght from his receipt!

I've eaten at Midway a few times, but it has been a while, from what I remember good food.
 
I was drinking a couple of St. Gen. winery micro-brews over the weekend. Pretty good stuff.
