Just got the official word today that Wier Ford/chevy will be joining us for the RNG and the car show. Besides being a car dealership, they also sell Ford, Chebby, and Roush crate engines and assundry parts.

The really cool part is that they are going to help us market the show as they did the KSHE car show...by stuffing our fliers in every single envelope that goes to their cutomers!!!!! My contact there says his list is in the 3-4000 range. Let's saddle this pony up and ride it to a successful 1st annual car show!!!
 
Cool, now if we could just get a few more members to help run the show......

Chuck...put me down for helping out for Run n Gun...don't know if I can give you more than a day solid (Thurs or Fri.) and a few hours over the weekend, but I know every bit will help.
 
Thanks, Scott. Friday will be the busier day to man the booth. If you could help us out at the show on Saturday, that would be great also. I believe we are running it from 8a-2p. A few of us are going to be staying overnight Friday at the Casino Queen in order to go to the RNG banquet on Friday evening. This will alsoallow us to get to the track early on Saturday morning.
 
In case I didn't mention it, I had planned to take off work that Friday so I can be there all day as I can on Saturday.

Thanks Tim, K&K, and Scott. In addition Clyde, Mark and I will be milling around also so we have a good start. I will defer to Clyde on who he needs where for the car show part of the gig.

I plan on being there Weds thru Sat with the exception of Thursday morning.

This event will truly be the "put us on the map" party for our club . :D:)

It's probably one of the top Cobra and "kit" car events in the country. It's mainly a track event - and has been for some years. Now they are moving towards a full event schedule - and we're helping with the car show. People come from all over the country to participate.

OH! Okay....I didn't know that's what this was called. :) Yea...a lightweight AND a noob, all rolled in to one. :D
 
Only reason I knew anything about it is from the FFC forum. I've never been, always forget about it as it isn't very well advertised.
