• For all members (past, current, and new)

THANK YOU ALL FOR HELPING TO GET THIS CLUB OFF THE STARTING LINE !!!

To begin your membership with Gateway Cobra Club please submit your vital information to our club registrar/Treasurer: Paul Proefrock

    Please include your:

Name, address, phone numbers (work, home, cell) e-mail, etc. Also, tell us about your Cobra (make, model, year, colors, engine, options, stage of build, etc.), where you bought it, any other particulars. Also include other vehicles, birthdays, your occupation & company, and any other details about you and you significant others. BTW - this info will not be posted on-line (EVER). It's just for us - to make the club better. We will eventually create a database for internal club use only.

We will begin collecting dues soon to enable the activities that we have planned for the year - so stay tuned for that.

FINALLY - get involved. Attend the meetings, schedule some cruises, and have some fun. We want to make this club fun (for the whole family). We're small (for now) but we're going to make a big noise here in St. Louis. In the end - this club will only be as good as our members participation.

Thanks for joining us - see you in the fast lane!

Just saying hello

New to cobras was on ffcars read of this site, live in stl area have a ton of QUESTIONS. Pick up a kit that was started by someone else and going to try to finish.

Post your questions. We have a lot of experience with various kits in the club. If you want to build the whole thing yourself, that's cool and if you need some help, just say the word and you'll probably have 4-6 guys stopping by. We're a fairly tight knit club and we love the cars. We have big blocks, Strokers and forced induction in the group as well, so make your list and we'll help you where ever we can. It's always alot more fun spending someone else's money. ;)

The club is out out at our monthly meeting at Sonic tonight in Chestfield valley. It the second Tuesday of the month.

Welcome 33. couple of questions for you.

How far along is the car you bought?

Did you buy it from someone around here?

I hope to be able to help some along the way, it'll be great to have you join us on some good drives.

Great to have you in the club. Many of us built our own. I did all but the body work. Would love to get my hands dirty again!

Thanks for WELCOME. The kit is about 60% done unless I find some thing I don't like. The kit came from texas got it May 1 this year. It's a mk3.1 with 347sbf t-5 trans. I am looking at changing his custom exhaust for 4 into 4 headers to sidepipes ?? about O2 sensors in headers and ceramic coating.

Thanks Rick

Welcome, I live in Florissant also. I am 80% done with a FFR coupe, so a little different. I live off Vaile near old Jamestown rd.. Let us know if you need any help, or a ride for motivation.

Hey Rick,

I don't live in St. Louis anymore...but I do know about the car you bought. I traded messages with the guy (Robert aka radtexas...I believe?) many times when we were both doing bodywork at the same time last fall. He spent a lot of time and some crazy money on that exhaust system. Did you get the factory five sidepipes with the sale? It should be easy enough to covert it back to the stock set-up.

The hood vents he did look nice but not sure how he left the cold ram air intake?

Good luck with your finishing. Have the GCC guys over for a build party/assessment. Also, talk to Murrill Feldman about getting the paint finished. Your almost there.

Scott

P.S. - I now live in Dublin, Ohio just outside of Columbus - home to the London Cobra Show!

Hey Scott

Yes I did buy from Robert, no I was not smart enough to get FF sidepipes with deal but have worked deal with Robert to switch exhaust systems with him. I would like to thank everyone to offer help, hope to meet everyone at a meeting and take you guys up on that.

Rick
