Jim Coupe Update

Car is looking good Jim.

I think you can make the U-Hall trailer work. I did a few times. If you use homemade wood ramps screw them together and device a way to hook them to the metal ramps. That way you can’t spin them out from under you. Go slow and have someone watch you go up.

Another tip is to use the trailer jack to lift the front of the trailer, this will decrease the ramp angle.

Jim the guy in the vett made the mistake I see too often. Once lined up to the trailer, not hesitate and stop on the ramps, especially if you use separate non-attached ones

Jim, glad you've recovered enough from surgery to get back on the Daytona! (y)

Unfortunately, a Daytona won't fit in my trailer or I'd offer to tow it for you. But, the following video may help:

Can someone check their Missouri title that have a Factory Five car and tell me what is listed as Make on the title? I just got my title after 4 weeks and the make listed is bogus. Thanks

Is this what you're looking for?

I was curious if most people’s title had Ford as the MAKE and the title stamped as REPLICA.
Jim, my Superformance is titled as a 1965 Ford with body style "Tudor" and REPLICA in all bold caps off to the side. Mike

Mine says 1965 COBR TUDOR and has REPLICA stamped to the right of the address.

Mine says 1965 COBR and Body Style is CONVE and also has the Replica next to the address.

For some reason mine says 48 HP. I think they left the 5 off the 485 HP. They never asked me the HP and I didn't fill it our anywhere.

Thanks for the replies. I drove down to Jefferson City this morning to get my title fixed. As luck would have it I got the same gal who helped me a couple months ago and she remembered working with me along with the lady there who processes the kit cars. She looked at my title and immediately said this is wrong, the MAKE should be COBR. So I should get my corrected titled next week if all goes well.

I didn’t really care if the MAKE was FORD or COBR but my title had a value of MONC for MAKE. When I researched and found that value on the internet, I knew it wasn’t a coincidence when I saw the word Daytona in the description. MONC was the MAKE for Daytona Mobile Homes MFD by Monarch Industries.
