So, let's see how many car nuts and history buffs we have. Can you id what year, make and model car this is off of?

Beer Tray

I think this is a vertical shot of the beer serving tray that was in use when Tim met those young ladies referenced in another thread.

If you look real close at the reflection in the gold part, you can see someone lifting their top, preparing to be on "Cobra owner's friends gone wild"

Does Paul win a milkshake? :D

No winner yet. Ok, since no one is responding I will give you a hint: Car model is a Goldenhawk, now, what is the car make and year?

The Studebaker Goldenhawk was only made for three years 56-58...but I don't know which year had the emblem you show.

The Studebaker Hawk designer Raymond Lowrey was considered by many to be the best auto designer of the 50's. His cars styling was almost too advanced for the general public and were not well received initially.

The early cars were popular at Bonneville because of their light weight and excellent aerodynamics.

I wanted a 53 Studebaker hardtop with a small block Chevy for years when I was growing up. The appearance of the cars IMHO declined when they added the tail fins in 1956 when the Hawk was introduced. But the cars were fast by 50's and even 60's standards.

Nu-uh!

Be careful. I think Tim is trying to throw everyone off once I properly identified the picture.

You can run but you can't hide. Purple makes a terrible camoflage color unless you live in Kalliforna.

Paul :p

They come to Chuck a Burger a lot, so you could see it in person there.

I was thinking my big block sound gave me away, it's been the color all along. Huh. :D

I think the first is an 1971 AC Frua, the second is a 1957 AC Aceca Bristol. How did I do? :) or :(

You went above an beyond as I didn't pay attention to the years, the make/model is correct though. Our little cars were bred from these :D
