I could tell you a similar story of a long time family friend and member of my parents church who swindled thousands from his friends while serving as their financial adviser / tax accountant.

My dad lost $40k alone....and 20 years later is still not over the betrayal.

The truck was a 460 with stack injection, kind of a rat rod meets resto mod. The car:
