Ok, follow this exactly.
Think of a 3 OR 4 digit number (Ex: 2268)
Jumble up all the digits of your number to make another number (Ex: 8262)
Now that you have two numbers, subtract the smaller from the larger number (Ex: 8262 - 2268)
Ok, now draw a circle around one of the digits in your answer. Don't circle a zero as it's already a zero.
Jumble up the numbers in your answer from above, and type them in to your reply EXCEPT for the number you circled.

I will then guess your number :D
 
Well after all of your instructions, I came up with 202.

You can't guess this number since I just gave it to you.

What was my original number?

Hint...it was 4 digits...

If your number is 202, and you CAN"T circle a 0, then you HAD to circle a 2. Your original number or your jumbled number has nothing to do with it. The answer does.

I guess I didn't fully understand your instructions. I followed them exactly. When you say "Jumble up the numbers in your answer from above, and type them in to your reply EXCEPT for the number you circled." I didn't transfer the number I circled to my final number. It was a 5 that I circled. That's why I was so interested to see how you could guess a number that was not there :rolleyes:

I know...putting way too much thought into this...
