There must have been a couple hundred cars for the power tour go by our office yesterday. I don't think there was a 5 min time frame that didn't have a least a couple.

Its very difficult to sit hear and watch them all go by. A few have started trickling by this morning already.

I wish I had more vacation time to join them!

They were at Gateway last night i guess. I forgot all about it. My car is running, guess I could have joined them

I heard on the radio yesterday that they were meeting at Gateway yesterday from 12 - 6.
Stupid job!!!! I would have loved to see that. :D

I participated in the tour again this year....not a long hauler this year. The stop in Effingham was ausome.....Mike Yager of Mid America Motorsports put on the feed bag for everyone...great food, great weather and some of the best people you would ever want to meet and they all had some really fantastic cars. There were several thousand(my estimate) cars at this stop.
Didn't take the Cobra this year....took my T-bucket with a built 383 stroker in it....like to beat me to death. Small town just north of Effingham had the streets lined with people in thier lawn chairs....city cop at a stop sign:I asked him if I could lite em up and said sure go ahead, I then asked how much this was going to cost me and he said nothing..I did a tremendous burn out and it got pretty squirley so I had to get out of it....what a blast this HRPT is.

Missed it again this year. Sounded like fun Mike. A few of the Texas Cobra club guys caught up with them in Miami, OK
