Last Saturday, a number of members stepped up to help build dressers for Home Sweet Home, a local furniture bank used by various charities to provide home furnishings to persons moving from homeless to their first apartments. Bottom line_ we had 52 volunteers who built 61 Ikea dressers. Not a small feat in itself. And our own Tony Goebel claimed the crown of "Building Machine"
It was really a fun event and provided an opportunity to be involved. Thanks, Gateway Cobra Club
These are a few of the pictures that were captured. Theresa and her 'eye' came thru big-time - you can view a few more in her Home Sweet Home album
This has become an event of our church about every six months. If you didn't get a chance to participate, we'll do it again later this year.
A special thanks to those who not only participated but donated the cost of a dresser to the cause.
