Great job Paul! Gonna have to wash the blue off the tire lettering though :D

Great Job Paul. Good luck with the licensing. Can't wait to see that smile plastered on your face.

Looks great Paul, good luck with the registration process. Jeff City is not bad to deal with once you have everything in order.

Your patience and diligence has paid off....nice job Paul. Is the red stripe a rookie stripe or team stripe...never did understand which it is.

. . . Is the red stripe a rookie stripe or team stripe...never did understand which it is.

The fender stripe is referred to as a pit stripe. The stripes come from the Mid-60's era FIA racing. Shelby used the stripes to identify which car was coming into the pit. Remember, this was before they had radio communications to the drivers.

I have also read that in the FIA racing world, the US colors were white with blue stripe. Shelby, known for his rebellion against the establishment, went to the track with blue cars with white stripe. WikiPedia Info

the term "Rookie Stripe" term refers to the yellow stripe that NASCAR uses on the rear of the rookie drivers car. This is a picture of the back of Danica Patrick's NASCAR ride. Notice the yellow stripes on the bumper

Leave it to Paul to show pictures of Danica's rear end. I also notices she has one side cocked a little higher than the other.

Tilt?

Dan,
I have never noticed the cant to the passenger side till you called it out. This is another picture however the rookie stripes aren't evident

ps: yes, there is a Cobra in the picture. Look again :p

I looked as close as I could. I don't think that's a Backdraft. I thought it was a Factory Five - you know with the Perky Butt.

Base on the size of the exhaust opening, that's not a FFR. Opening is too large for the size of exhaust. Could it be a Superformance? An older model? It has bolt on's though instead of the Pin drive. Paul see what you started!
