I've been checking in every day, the only problem I've had is "no new posts" 
yea, I talked to Rich yesterday and he said he hasn't been able to get on all week. I think he was connecting from a Mac(?)

Hi, dont know whats going on but I can not even open the page from home. I'm at Jeans now and have no problem. Its been a week since able to log on from home, and yes I do run a mac ?????????????????? Sent Kerry an e-mail and he said he was having trouble as well but that was days ago. The last day I was able to log on from home was 12/17/12

It sounds like a browser related problem. Make sure your automatic updates are happening, and Java updates. You may have to turn off your firewall for this or set your computer for automatic updates. This may explain the problems some folks are having.

After two weeks of being unable to log on, making all updates, clearing our cookie folder and double checking our spam filters.... we finally had the problem corrected by supplying Mark with our IP address.
Two WEEKS without access was too much.
Mark will need to provide the details of why myself, Keith, Tom, Rich and perhaps others were locked out.

The forums are there for everyone's use and posts. I used to try and keep things new and would post a new thread every now and again on things I found interesting or though provoking with little to no interest. Post away, bring up new topics or things of interest. I'm not doing much to my car and don't have much to say right now, but I did just get back from a hunting trip and will post some pics and a story on a large buck deer soon.

So - why were we having problems???
Wellllllll - in a word - spammers.
It seems that a server initiated robot with the mission of blocking spam IP addresses went haywire and was blocking too many IP addresses. This bot had nothing to do with our Forum software or settings. It was out of my control and was going on without my knowledge. We are in process of manually inserting "okay" IP addresses to our server - which is why I sent the e-mail out earlier this evening. Those that had trouble previously, and responded to my e-mail have had their IP address manually inserted and they are fine now.
Guess what - we will begin moving servers to a new company shortly. Additionally, we will be doing a long overdue update to the forum software, and eventually change the look of the site.
Sorry for the trouble.

Just glad you were successful in getting it fixed.
I have to battle spammers and bots every day on the 68forum and it is nearly a full time job.

Unfortunately no.
Got the formal radiology report today and it was confirmed that the problem is a partially collapsed lung with excess fluid present. (left mid-lung atelectasis with pleural effusion)

AHHHH!!! I finally got back in after a couple weeks locked out, Merry Christmas & Happy New year everyone! Sorry to hear about your health Kerry, please take good care of yourself and know that I am thinking about you. I had a CT this morning and a quick trip through the lab and on to work. Routine maintenance, I don't expect anything but posutive news and I hope the same for you after a little more good care.
