...rolled down your windows on your daily driver to simulate a Cobra drive testing to see if it's too cold to take a drive?



Let's try and keep this one going.
 
I do it all the time. :D I also do it to feel the wind so I can think about driving the cobra. Are we obsessed?

...just opened the door to your garage just to have a look?
 
You guys are killing me! I just had to take it out. Came back after a half hour and realized I didn't even have my wallet.

Ever checked the 5 dasy forecast to plan which days you can take the Cobra to work?

Gone to the gas station with more than 1/2 tank to top her off - just so you could take her out?

Have you ever just went ahead and driven the car in the early morning, even though it's freaking cold at speed, just because you know it's going to be a beautiful afternoon and you don't want to waste it. :D
 
Yep, I do it all the time.....
Check the weather for the drive time....still have been caught in rain
Drive it to work when it's 27* at 5:00 am...just to enjoy the 60* drive home. In the summer it's the nice 65* drive in at 5 and the 99* drive home in the afternoon. It's still a perfect day. Off today and weather shows mid 50's...
Think I'll slither around the roads for awhile later today.

Ok, here is mine (since I am not driving yet):

...Ever gone into the garage not knowing what you are going to build next...and just stared at it for an hour, decided to add a few more things the next time you are building, and then make a quick garage drive (jump in the seat and make vroom vroom noises)...
 
I am constantly trying to come up with ideas that will convince the wife another 2-3 grand is justified....any good ideas?? Her main comeback is why do you need that? She just doesn't understand the distiction between need and want ...I need to want
My main excuse is:Too much is still not enough.

OK - have you ever walked through the garage doing some sort of busy work and then just stopped right in your tracks and starred, and starred, and starred? and then forgot what you were doing in the garage in the first place? Happened to me last night.

... watched hours and hours of the Barrett Jackson auction and thought "someday, I'll have one of those cars" - and then take a peak in the garage and realize - I already do!

... watched that show CRIBS on MTV where they show all of those rap stars and their homes and cars, and when the start to brag and show their "sports cars" you laugh out loud and think "you call that a sports car yo?"
 
...been in your daily driver when a "hot" mustang/camaro/corvette pulls up beside you at a red light and you imagine how you could so smoke them? :D
