Those temp guns are really handy. Like mike said they can easily help diagnose a weak cylinder. For tires, you need to check temps at the cords under the rubber. That takes a tire temp probe. It seems silly to poke a needle into your tire but thats how they do it. I will have one with me at the track in April. I will be happy to loan it out if some of you are at an event I can't make it to.

The drag guys just hit the slick after a burn out. they try to leave with the temp on the slick the same every run.

Was at the st charles store today buying a new longer digital caliper for push rod lenth and saw this guy that was not to happy, seems he had a small cut off wheel explode and had bad hand injury, Thats why mine still has the sheild on it but took safety trigger off ( it was a pain in the ass ) They had safety glasses at 1 time that had built in reader lenses for guys like me. I bought every 200 pair they had and they are great.
