We just returned tonight from the Hermann Hill B&B in Hermann MO.
Room with a veranda overlooking the town...glass of wine on arrival...hot tub...jacuzzi...breakfast in bed....heated towels...His and Hers robes...nightcap of chocolate chip heart shaped cookies with Ice cream...it was rough...!!
Then today we drove to Zenith Aircraft in Mexico MO where Kathy had her first flight in a light sport aircraft....a Zenith CH 750 STOL. She was beaming afterwards and has not stopped talking about the flight all the way home. She had a blast...
Oh....and notice the halter top she is wearing...Thanks Dave...!
Cool, didn't know they were located so close. I may have to try that. Glad you had a great time. I believe that Kathy get's the award for highest elevation for a GCC logo
Thought I would offer a taste of why pilots often see flying as a near religious experience....
It's called Skud Running.....its dangerous and not for the inexperienced or faint of heart.
But it is a chemical free high that is hard to duplicate.
I once took my father on a similar run in a Stearman Bi Plane on Father's Day about 1994. He kissed the ground when we landed....and later sent me the only "Thank You" card I ever received from him.
