These aren't officially available yet, but wanted to post about the process and get a take on the art work...this will be available to you guys at a big discount for allowing me to post on the forum as discussed. It will be going into the vendor section when it's official...just wanted to get your opinions on it...
Been in contact with Shelby and working out the licensing rights to this piece. 20-25% of the final sale price of prints will be going back to the Carroll Shelby Children's Foundation. The original work is to either be donated directly to the foundation for charity auction or sold by me with proceeds going back to the foundation. I may also do others similar to this such as a Cobra Daytona or a 67 GT500 etc. I won't get hardly any profit from this, just enough to cover my costs, but it's for a good cause.

This piece is to represent a period correct comp cobra sitting in the paddock circa 1965-66. Some changes were made to represent authenticity of the time. Lots of reading, research, and talking to people at Goodyear and Halibrand to make it correct.
The windshield was removed for the small driver's side screen (apparently at speed the standard windshield would dislodge on occasion) The small screen isn't shown, but gives the representation. The fender badging removed as on most comp 427's, the period correct 427 side pipes powder coated in flat black, authentic magnesium Halibrand pin drives with the left hand thread knock off's saftey wired in the correct direction, period correct Goodyear Blue Streak Speedway Special tires with the blue trim and interior lettering with side indicating chalk/grease pencil mark, and the fender flares enlarged slightly for comp models. The #1 is ficticious, but has the AP (A-Class, Production) identification to show it's a competition racer.
The original work was 20 x 30 and prints will be offered in 24 x 36 giclee museum prints and not posters. This image seen was scanned by me in 8-10 segments since it was so large. Can't take a photo of it with my camera since it doesn't show detail, clarity or smooth blending, so the scanner is the next best I can do - still not the best though. The piece will be sent out for professional image capture for printing process.
It will be offered in an edition size of 200 prints. The Shelby people would also like to make it available on their site too. I'm also going to see if I can get a small number of these signed by Carroll to be available also.
