Guys,
My rotary club auctions off a car every year during Dragon Nationals. Last year it was a new Mustang. This year they have given me the ok to buy a Cobra. I ask your help to keep a look out for good deals. Sorry Mike...yours was too $$$, thought about a low ball offer, but what fun is that??:rolleyes: And yes I will be asking each of you to buy tickets:D:eek::p

Glad to hear your club is doing this. I am president elect for my club...served one term 2000-2001 and ready for another go at it.
What club do you belong to?
I will be asking my club to participate....they have to give me the car tho..
Don't you wish the entire world could live by the 4 way test.
 
Scott, I figured you and I would definately talk before I do anything, but I would rather just talk offline(I'm still hoping you say for sure the sale is off). Talked to Dave at Fastlane, I may end up with one of them who knows. If any of us win I guess it could be a loaner for the builders in the club:eek::eek:. For those that don't know what Mike was refering to the four way test is: 1) Is it the Truth 2) Is it fair to all concerned 3) Will it build good will and better friendship 4) Will it be beneficial to all concerned.

My concern would be having a car ready to "drive away" as you stated. I don't have the funds to get it painted right now (or a painter lined up...but that is easy to solve) so even though your idea is fantastic it may not work timing wise for me, even if I do have to sell.

I'll call you over the weekend.

its too bad the greed of some can't live up to those standards, like corporate greed in America. all the hungary children in our own country,all the ones who can't find work,:(
because we are selling our industry and technology. i am for all of the 4. but does everyone that owes to it, live by it. like our new president has said about wall street shame on them,
we need to think about our country and to make it stronger than ever.:)#2
