Reviewing the video I have from the GoPro I borrowed from Gary. The video is jumpy, like it will run smooth for one to 2 seconds, then it jumps ahead about 2 seconds. Any clue why it would do this?

Yes, the 1080 video takes enormous bandwidth. In raw form it will bog down all but the fastest computers. Just upload it to youtube and anyone can watch it because it will be available in a lower resolution. Beware the upload will take hours for a longer clip. Just start the upload before you go to bed and it will be done in the morning. My 60 second autocross videos take around 1 hour to upload on slow DSL.

Glad you all made it back safe and sound.

I can convert, edit, encode, and upload any video you wish. Just drop your files on a dvd and send to me.

GoPro now has a WiFi bacpac - stream live video - hmmm....We could host a virtual track day with those of you who will not track :p :D GoPro BacPac

I got a GoPro from my wife for our anniverary. Haven't had the chance to use it yet. May try it this weekend on the rollbar mount.

Tim, Really? So, have you used your cell phone as a wifi hotspot to transmit the video back 'live'? I just think for me, attending an HPDE event where instructors won't ride with me, this could be a useful tool in getting feedback.

I used it up in Chicago when I took my brother-in-law for a ride. Although slow...it worked great!
