Funny thing that happened ...

Today was the beer pickup day for AB. I had been given a couple of beer tickets and went and picked it up for myself and others since I had a truck. When I got back one of the women said she had parked around the corner. When I pulled around I saw that she had parked next to my friend's Ferrari. She started opening the door and I quickly shoved my hand between her door and his car and stopped it from chipping the paint. I told her "I was just protecting the Ferrari." She looked real shocked and spun around and said where? I pointed to the car and she said "Oh I saw the horse on the back end and thought it was a new Mustang!". I about died laughing! He's got a nice 550 Maranello. Man did her face turn red.

So what is she saying...it's O.K. to door ding a 30k Mustang, just because it's a Mustang...but gets embarrased when she realizes it's a Ferrari????

Well, my wife is the same way. I tols her last week to look at a "blacked out 5 series" (I thought it looked like a stealth hit man car), and she said, that's a BMW, it just looks like a Dodge to me...

Uuugggghhhh.

Anyway, nice save Dan...so did you get enough beer for us?

I can't beleive you asked...

Of course. I had a real bad scare today. the bank called and with all the problems with home loans and mortgages, I wasn't going to be able to get the car. I was freaking out. I'll tell you the details at the meeting. As of right now, I'm scheduled in Phoenix on Saturday. If and when the car arrives, I'll have plenty of beer. Even some Bud Light Lime for the party on the 24th. Keep you fingers crossed. Man I tell you my luck is horrible when I try to do something for myself.

My daughters open house is tonight. I have to go to thatt and then both of us are coming to the meeting. She's the one that wanted to build the car with me. I should be there by 7 or 7:30. Don't leave without seeing me. I'll call if I'm going to be be much later. See you guys there.
