Ok. I bought the new hanger from Pro-M racing along with a new fuel pump. I need to shorten the leads from the top of the hanger and solder/splice in the new harness that goes with the fuel pump. I know I need to cover the spliced area with shrink wrap, but most isn't fuel safe. Since the pump and wiring will be submerged in fuel, who knows where to get that type of shrink wrap. I just need enough to cover two splices, but all the stuff at the Autozone and Lowes is just generic shrink wrap. Any ideas?

I used crimps and a heat shrink sleeve that were fuel safe. I still have a handful if you want a few.

You guys got me all paranoid now. I just use regular heat shrink. I made sure all the hoses were compatible with the fluids but didn't even think of this. May just pull it and redo it.

No, don't remember. If it was Harbor Freight it would have been there Marine grade. I've bought from to many different places to recall. McMaster Carr, Del City and Harbor freight.

Take a chunk and put it in a jar of gas for a couple days. If its not fuel safe, it'll break down pretty quick. I thunk you're fine, almost all plastics and rubbers are fuel safe.
