Well it looks like the left has their 911.

This oil spill is real bad for sure - and the pressure has already started. Gas prices up 20 cents and climbing, a hold on drilling, and I saw an ad on TV blaming us for using oil and causing it.

I predict that as this event unfolds into the horrible disaster that it is - we - law abiding, normal people, just going about our lives - will and are being cast as - evil incarnate. We ruined the environment. We killed the birds and shrimp. We ruined the economy. We are to blame. Ane WE will have to pay the price.
 
You said 911. Did you mean 9/11? Gee I thought BP was to blame. :rolleyes::eek:;):D BTW is anybody else besides me going to the FL panhandle next month for vacation? Bring your oil boots for wading in the ocean. :(
 
I know just the person who can handle the oil companies SARAH PALIN she knows how to stick it in their ass pretty deep. Did it for alaska
 
You're right, but - it's bigger than the oil companies now. The enviromentalist whackos and every other left wing whack job group will now begin the attack on our lifestyle as the root cause. It's their 9/11. And these guy know how to take advantage of a crisis. They won't be playing pocket pool like the republicans.

There you go - I think I have managed to equally offend everyone.
 
Kind of a slow reaction time by our government. Some call it positioning. They could have started to contain it much earlier than they did. If this happened 3 years ago, it would becase the sitting Pres. hated the wetlands!
 
I would not compare to the spill to 911; it was not caused by terrorist bent on killing Americans.
It is a problem for the admin but as you said"never waste a good crisis".
