Always been on my bucket list. Year's ago I looked into something similar but could never afford it. At the time Skip Barber was $3-4K for the 3-day racing school at Road Atlanta or Laguna Seca. later SB ran into some financial trouble and some folks splintered and created Level Up racing school. I looked into Levels prices and still out of range for me lol.
My friend Chris Beaufait went through the Skip B. racing system (3-day, then 2-day advanced) then in the Skip Miata Spec series. He eventually made it running in the IMSA Continental Tire Sportscar Series (Boss 302 and SIN R1 GT4). I asked him if he fitted the cost for everything (because of his regular job at the time) and he said he still got funding from sponsorship.
Anyway, long story short, I think the racing shools have real benefit and that would be awesome. Are you thinking about it Tim?
