Family Killed In Columbia, hits close to home.

I went to grade school with Chris (St. Marks in Steeleville, yes he lived in Chester at that time also). I have not seen him since high school, I knew his 2 brothers growing up as well. It hits close to home. It seems people really can change. He was the polite kid in grade school.

His dad is a preacher at a large non-demoninational church there. Guess you never really know what is going on inside someones head.

Very sad. I pray for his family.

CR, I don't know that I ever want to know what goes on in their head. I agree and feel for the family. I've had one of my closest friend growing up, go off the deep end and now has been divorced twice and living alone and he's a Doctor. I just don't think I'll ever understand how someone can take a child's life, much less their own child's life. I know what you mean about hitting close to home too. I guy I thought I knew to be a stand up guy was arrested in one of those scams to catch guys trying to have sex with 14 year olds. it's a scary world out there. Hug your wife and kids and load the guns. We'll keep the family in our prayers too.
