Cool - you're a race team member. Now, if you can learn to jack up that car and change a tire, maybe, just maybe Tim will let you help him at the track.
I have been following this thread.....did not really understand why you were having problems until I saw you pics....
I have the extended height trailer....the door/ramp is longer.
Looks like you solved your problem. Nice job guys
No
The jack will go in front of the tool chest and I'll use the ratchet straps to hold in place
No, would have served no purpose, and I will be moving the car back a little now anyway.
It's back in the garage.
Got 90% of the floor painted today, ran out of paint.
So, bought a weight distribution system today. They said to give this a try before purchasing the entire weight distribution and sway control system. He said most of the time, just the weight distribution system eliminates the sway with proper loading. He said I should have 60% on the tonge and 40% on the trailer. Sooo, will be installing this Thursday. Anyone want to help
Well, after 7 years of ownership, I've sold this trailer. Not sure why people get 'attached' to things or, if it's the memories. Re-read this thread and have learned so much about towing since I bought this trailer. Lot's of trips made to Putnam, Hallett, Gingerman, Lake Garnett, San Marcos, TX, Gatlinburg, Deadwood and a few Supercruise trips in Arkansas. Lot of memories going with that trailer from the pep talks inside the trailer at the track from Jim Dooley, to scaring the crap out of my Dad when I started the car in the trailer while he stood inside, to packing up the trailer after Supercruise or a track day and looking back on the weekend. It's been a great ride!
Thanks Dan T for letting Mark P use yours for Deadwood
