Thinking of going up to look for some Eagles, anyone ever done this and where? I saw a bald eagle yesterday coming over the 255 bridge circling the Mississippi.

There is a river boat cruise on Kentucky Lake that takes you to several nesting areas.
Last 4th of July we saw several while on the water.

Alton Lake, below the dam is a great spot....eagles feed off the "stunned" fish after they pass through the dam. Also the old Chain of Rocks bridge is good also.

Good event at the Lake of the Ozarks in February, I also second Chain of Rocks. and Tim you could probably help withthe third. I hunted at a public place years ago just across the river into IL. I can't remember the name but they had an great area with a ton of Eagles. Sorry I don't know the name.

Sorry, not just across the river it is Duck Creek in Southern IL. Also I was told Clarksville up hwy 79.

Having never done it, are there good photo opportunities? Or do you have to zoom too much?
