Hey Guys,

I want to get the Coupe engine dyno tuned. It is a 331, Edelbrock Proflo-2 EFI.

I have three names:

Bob Stiegemeier, Stiegemeier Porting Service, St. Charles, MO

Ben Craven, Craven Performance, St. Charles, MO

Wayne Presley, Enterprise, AL

Anyone have any experience with any of these? Anyone else I should consider?

Thanks.

Bob

Bob works on all high performance Fords but he is known nationally for his tuning abilities...particularly with the Modular motors.
He has a dyno on site and is a great knowledgeable and honest person to deal with.

Plus...he is a big fan of the Gateway Cobra Club.
He visited us last year during the K&K Southern Cruise in Farmington..
...and he even has one of our current club calendars in his shop office.

He has previously done the tuning on Gene's Cobra and his new GT350 Mustang

Bob get's my vote. He did the last tuning on mine and I really think it's running much better. He's very good with EFI and at diagnosing odd problems and awesome to work with. If you decide on him, let him know you're with the club. When I do more upgrades, then I'll be taking it back to Bob as well.

As a side note, make sure you're ECU is seeing at least 14 volts throughout the rpm range. They found that my voltage was dropping off with the increase in RPMs. I brought it home and re-wired the feed and a few other areas and it made a dramatic difference in how the car reacts. I then took the car back and they finished the tune and didn't charge me anymore for bringing it back.
