dumb "?"

how come there is a post one day
and the next day its gone
or i post something and it gets deleted on several occasions...
Let me guess
mmmmmm:confused:
well good luck with the 408, Phoenix.
try to put my 2 cents in because thats all i got these days:cool:
shame u can't be free in this country to speak ur mind and be helpful along with that!!
i'll say a couple Hail Mary's 4 ya:rolleyes:

Hell keep trying the do gooders might slap you

thats what the nuns used to do to me.still respected them though!!
so i took it out on the goode 2 shoes:rolleyes:never did like people that think they are better than ya. and i am not any better than them...?
never been scared of being slapped
this guy knows how to long arm back:D and that ain't engine talk:rolleyes:

still dumb and doesn't make sense

Not deleted - just moved to The Members Build Area.

then if someone would like to talk about something that they are doing then why post it?
to keep it secret from others ??
so what is the real reason that this forum exists?
i believe that if u really enjoy speaking about what u do and how u do it.......................... it should be shared.i am here to help anyway i can, just feel my family comes first when it comes to joining a club of people i really don't know, but share an interest....???
the f5R forum they are all together as one. and most help each other in their build!!!!
we that have built our own car or are in the process of building our car should be for the goodness of others.
doesn't make much sense that one thing gets posted about a build or a engine, or a tranny
ect ect.... and some get moved and others don't.
is it that one that pays for the membership of ur club cries and has to have his or her post moved, or is the info that is released more to there liking in a secret forum about a car that we all love...to build, modify, run down the track, go on a cruise with a beautiful wife or race some rice-burner that doesn't deserve the space on the road as this same ICON of a vehicle deserves.
i am leaving this at that...
i am sure u are all good people, but u know it insults me and i am sure others that being a part of building a car with ur own hands should gain the respect of others.
u would grow as a club of builders in this area if u would'nt act like the peolpe that think they are better than others, meaning the forum for the membership rules over the guy just trying to be a friend of another builder........................................................................
i never new the people of St. Louis area were this way, i would expect this treatment from the east coast and the west coast not my home-town
so some that care and some that can't afford the membership of this elustrious club
i bid u good-bye
and when the black with the blue stripes does a fly-by one day u will say i know him
What a ...................#@&#?!.....................................? but i care about others...
and i tried to help Semper FI MAC

Leo,

Come down off that ledge man.

If you want in the members section, it is a pay to play area. $36/year last time I checked, eh Mark?

That's two cases of Budweiser my man.

Leo - moving Karl's thread to his build area was not about you. It was for the benefit of Karl. That way he can have a build log, or record, or history of his exploits and building adventure. At the time of Karl's original posting he had no build area because he did not need one - now he does. There exists a very large portion of this forum that is for members only - you would be quite surprised. The reason we keep a members area segregated from the general public is so that we can maintain a certain level of professionalism and decorum. Members can share their processes, trails and tribulations without the fear of the general public making odd commentaries with regards of their hard work and passion. We also carry on various club business, as well as share personal thoughts and information. This site is not like Factory Five or Club Cobra. It's is paid for and maintained entirely by our members for the the benefit of our members. It's not a matter of exclusion or being elitists but rather it's democratic - as this structure is what the members have decide some time ago. This site, along with other activities and perks is one of the benefits of membership. I believe that all of the members here would agree that the small price they pay towards their annual dues is returned to them 10 fold in the form of information, fellowship, and friendship.

I hope I have more completely and adequately addressed your concerns.

Leo you seem like a great guy to me. I have enjoyed many of your posts. I know most of the members in this club very well. I don't believe any of the members in the club consider themselves to be elitist nor do I consider them to be so. The dues paying members only area of the forum was created I believe for several reasons. 1st & perhaps foremost to give dues paying members privileges that non-paying forum registrants do not have & to encourage persons like yourself the opportunity to join our little fraternity by paying a small sum to offset the costs associated with this organization & forum which are considerable. I personally would love to see you become a dues paying member. But I also sympathize with the very personal situation you have described & only hope that sometime in the future you will be able to contribute to the club coffers when circumstances change. Keep the faith baby. BTW Someday it would be neat to organize a float trip on the Current River or other suitable Mo. Ozarks scenic floats. :) BTW II Most of the guys in this club know a heck of a lot more about automotive stuff than I do & that includes you. So I consider myself to be just a good ole ILL hillbilly trying not to look too stupid next to the likes of some of these guys who know a heck of lot more than I do. These guys will help you out when you need it & have an invaluable wealth of knowledge that they are very willing to share with others. Love ya Dave Hopefully one last thing. Come to some of our functions, picnics, cruises, etc. & get to know more of us personally. Then I'll bet you'll agree with me that you are among friends & that we are not elitist snobs.
