That one turn was really quick & amazing. I was thinking we were going to see the thing flip any second & we never did.

I have watched this Speed or something.....looks wild to me. Notice the extended jet drive..that is what allows the almost 90 degree turns.
I will put this on my "bucket list".
I think these events are big down under.
 
I was waiting for someone to post the crashes. I'm in. I'll drive or navigate. And since it looks appropriate I'll even bring the beer. :eek::D
 
Take a look at Tom's post. The boat that flys over the straw bails into the crowd. Did anyone notice 1)the drunks DIDN'T move and 2) the bales caught fire and they still cheered!
 
Now that looks like fun....wet and stupid, but fun. I haven't seen these for a while. They were on every so often from the land of Roo's but they kind of dried up. Glad to see they are still doin silly stuff!! V-8's, a 15 foot boat, and three feet of water in curvy drainage ditch. YEEE-Hah !!!
 
I think the reason that boat can corner so fast is that the water creates a sort of wall in front of the turning boat. Like a 90 degree banked turn on a racetrack. A car can't do anything like that because it is limited to the adhesion of the small tire patch areas to the track. Of course if you build a track with 90 degree banking on the turns that looks like a bobsled run.....
