Anyone know where to get this stuff? I'm looking to cover a 4 X 6 area. Prefer one sheet, but could piece together 24" squares if that's cheaper. Looking at 1/8". Dull finish if that's cheaper too.

I'm interested also. I need to re-do my utility trailer this spring, and would like to use it for the floor and sides.

Source

I would try Shapiro's Metals in north city - don't recall if it is Natural Bridge or the Rock Road, around Goodfellow.

I've seen 4' x 4' sheets at Lowes, otherwise, you may contact Craftsmen Trailers off of 370 & Elm. HTH

Ouch!

$352.06  taxes included. Guess it's pressure treated wood for ol' bessy!

$186.05 from shapiro shipped 2 QTY 48" X 36" via ebay. Waiting on word if I can pick up locally.

Yeah, I got hold of that guy because his original topic header said "2 or 3 ft by 60".
I asked him "which is it"? Turns out it was neither one, lol. I'm just going to get it from Shapiro. Two sheets will cover my trailer floor perfectly and it's $160 bucks. For 20 bux extra they'll ship it.

Where is Shapiro? That is exacly what I want for my trailer also.

Thanks!

Shapiro's

Shapiro's is open to the public and they are accustomed to dealing with people walking in off the street and purchasing odd lots of aluminum or other metals.

They will shear to size for you, generally no charge but have a policy of $5 per cut

As a rough rule of thumb, they charge $3.50 per lb. W x L x Thk x .09 will give approx weight of piece of aluminum

They have a bunch of cut-off ends at the end of the aluminum rack if you need a block of metal for machining a part. They also have all kinds of off-all in the basement. It's worth your time to go into the basement and look around. They purchase a lot of scrap stuff from Boeing and it is like a treasure trove there

ps: be prepared. the building is not heated and once chilled down, does not warm back up till June. I was there last week and the thermometer inside said "3"
