This month's car could easily be used for Santa's sleigh ;) Tom received FFR2636 as a surprise Christmas gift in 2000 from his lovely wife Linda. Tom began his journey building the car in August of 2001. His completed beauty was licensed in July of 2002. Everywhere Tom goes, I believe he is asked about the color which is 2002 Viper Red with Arctic White (GM) stripes. Murrell F. in Washington, MO painted his car, if you ever see it in person, it's a great paint job by someone local. The engine is a 302 from a 1992 donor. Many add-ons to this engine that makes right around 411.9 Horsepower, just kidding, Tom hasn't had it dynoed so I made a number less than my big block. Tom has made 4 trips to London, OH for the Cobra show and multiple 300+ mile trips. An awesome car owned by one of the great guys in the club. See Tom's upgrade area for things he's done to the car recently - http://gatewaycobraclub.com/forums/forumdisplay.php?f=67

Good job Tim. The sound of that supercharger is awesome. Someday we'll get Tom at the Dyno - I'm guessing he's in the 500 Club !!

Thanks for the nice write up Tim. I have enjoyed looking at everyone else's cars on the calendar in front of my desk all year but couldn't wait to flip it to December :D. 09 was another great year cruising and hanging with you guys, I'm really looking forward to spring so we can start all over again.

Tom gave me a ride in FFR2636 (before it had paint) before I ordered my car. In fact, if it hadn't been for the quality of his build, I probably would not have ordered one. It's a great car owned and built by a great guy.

There are truly some master builders in this club. These are people who I would trust to build an airplane. My skills and my eyesight are not as good as theirs, and maybe I just don't care as much as they do for perfection. And perfection is just what it is. Absolute beauty and attention to detail. These are artists and master craftsmen. They take pride in their work and it shows.

It's a great car and I don't mind saying that I always look at it for new ideas. There are a dozen little things that Tom did that don't really get seen all the time. Dual zone heaters, Cockpit lighting and just a couple. Thanks for all the support this year Tom. Great car and great guy.
