Dan's body-on party Pictures!

Thanks for the pictures.

The projects completed were:

Tubular front lower control arms
Relocating the front speakers(my horns) out of the front cowling
New ball joints on the driver side
Installed a servo control for the heater so I can have variable heat
Modified the driver foot box with relocated brace and dead pedal area
Moved the dimmer button off my dash and moved it to an old fashion foot button
Added Tangent driving lights and used the old high beam switch for those.
Added a new turn signal module(like Tim's) with self cancelling
Installed a dropped trunk option so increase space in the trunk
New tubular rear lower control arms
Converted from 4 link to 3 link suspension with additional VPM re-inforcing bar
Setting up weather pac connectors for all lights.
Tangent hidden roll bar connectors too.

Oh and a new windshield that should be here Wednesday:p.

That was enough for my first winter. Already making better plans for next year, but NO BODY OFF!:D

good job hope everything rides well and u stay safe, nice mod on the trunk u think a 50 or a 60 spare will fit now, how come u only replaced ball joints on one side???.........and ur turn off signal ? how do u turn off Tim? is he self cancelling:D
the 3-link u will be happy with body roll will feel like u can go further in to the next turn:)

I know I felt great. I was I think more nervous putting it back on that taking it off. Why? Because I didn't want to forget to do anything before the body was back on. Looked great Dan, hope you are nearing completion this week so Shelley can get her spot back, or has she already :D

Shelley'd spot is still taken by the Body Buck( not that I've heard about it or anything:o). She's honestly been great about it. I'm finishing up the weather pac connectors over the next couple of days. Today is Ashley's bDAy, so it's out to dinner and family stuff. New windshield is due in on Wednesday. Side pipes are on and secure. No large leaks like before. Rollbars in with the new Tangent hidden connectors. One side was B!%@h, just because of alignment and bind. The Driver side spun right on and cinched up tight with the bolt holes all aligned. I've worked out the rear lights. He hadn't wired them consistently. That kind of stuff drives me nuts. I hope to have all the electrical connections buttoned up by Wednesday. I would like to have a week of small trips under my belt before taking off for the Dragon Nats.

Good news! Please tell Ashley happy b-day for me

I'll be sure to show Ashley this thread tomorrow. We took her out for dinner and she got a couple of things. I gave her a new die cast cobra from FastLane's. They didn't have one our color, but now that I think about it, It have a bunch of paint from the original paint job. Hmm,, That might be something nice to try with an air brush. Paint a die cast car to resemble the owners car.
