WHAT IT NEEDS:

I would (will) replace the timing chain. You might consider a different cam.

I have over $7,500 invested in this drivetrain, plus it is fully "sorted out." Asking just $5,000 for the entire engine/transmission as described above. Ride in it, and take it for a drive. Everything is working fine. Never a problem with this drivetrain. As you know, I don't drive it real hard because that car scares me. I would HIGHLY RECOMMEND a custom-built carburetor for this cam. I could not get it to run right until I had the carburetor built by Patrick at Pro-Systems. I will include the carburetor for $500 additional (I was planning on moving it to my new 408.)

I would also recommend that you take any newly installed engine/drivetrain to Omer Phelps at Lynch Hummer and have it dyno-tuned for optimal performance.
