We are getting close to spraying some color. I just finished wet sanding the hood today and thought I would post some pics. When it is wet it looks great so it should turn out just fine.

Now to finish sanding the main body and doors and we can move on.

Thanks again to Rick for all his help!

Looks great

Save some $$$ Just keep it wet all the time:D Put some food coloring in the water and you can have different colors, too

Looks good.

I like it either way, with or without stripes. Really, since you are going with such a dark color, your stripes really won't show. I think this color really calls for a clean no stripes look myself. Either way it will look great

I have been toying with a single stripe but with a pin stripe down each side a 1/4 inch off the main stripe.

Keith I like that entire car including the stripe.

Here is the body buck we built for paint. Ever seen a hydraulic adjustable buck before? BTW this was Rick's idea and it works great!

That s pretty trick,I may have to borrow that.Hope those aren't harbour freight C clamps :D

Neat - probably Chevy powered.:D
Doesn't look like it will corner too well though.

Almost forgot. That stripe you are thinking about - Wide with a skinny on each side - I think is considered a "SuperSnake" stripe.

That is in off road mode. It also has a road race mode and everything in between.
