"Gentleman Tom" Payne's Cobra for sale May 15. For those not familiar with Gentleman Tom, he often wore a white dress shirt and a tie when he raced. It all started when he arrived late at a race straight from a business meeting and had no time to change into his race jumpsuit while jumping out of his car and into the roadster to head for the grid that was seconds away from taking the green flag. This one should go for pretty good money even in this economy. Guys who will bid on it don't have to worry about money. My guess $2.75 million.

i saw 2 at FFR one was red the other a pearlish color that Hot-rod was doing no pics though
they wouldn't let u at that space.. the fenders for the 33 are sweet too. the 33 is a nice concept and if i wasn't a roadster "C" fan i would of got it instead plenty of room up front for a BBF or big Mod motor
