Those parts robots are the coolest. I saw them on a show about the Porsche factory.
 
Ozark airlines had robots that were like that in the '80's delivering parts to the the smaller shops in the hanger. He was called Raymond... he to was German made.
Granted he may not have been as modern looking, but ran over a guide wire system and stopped at every station..

I worked on an automated pick system for a Kroger Pharmacy Warehouse, that had similar workings. Pretty cool, but everything had to be exact! Contractors hated it. It was with the Witron Corp. out of Germany, and Nedcon out of the Netherlands. They really only need a few people at the warehouse, one to unload the truck, and one to load the pallets after the robot stacked them and wrapped them for the truck.

Pretty cool stuff.
