I am going to redo the carpet in the Cobra...any suggestions on where to purchase a good quality carpet? I am looking for a med-dark tan(the carpet not me).

I'll second the marine/outdoor/boat carpet from Lowe's. Those who have used it say it is a better quality and will not fuzz like the carpet that comes with the Factory Five kits.

I used the marine carpet from lowes (in black) I could not tell a difference between it and the factory carpet my FFR came with. I would recommend it, although I only used it for the trunk.

Does it come in other than black...I suggest black to my wife and got a big thumbs down..she says i should compliment the other interior trim which is a darker tan.
I want to be a good "husband" and do exactly what my wife wants/instructs/tells me to do.
If you believe all of that, I have bridge out west with to sell you. I has a huge beach leading to the Pacific ocean. It is not much over 40 years old and last time I checked on it , it had new paint.

I don't believe they do. CALLING GARY O - Gary, can you help out on this as your carpet is Tan. Mike, if he doesn't respond, send him a private message or call him. He has Tan carpet in his ride.

Mike,

Here is what Home Depot carries. They have both black and a taupe/tan color outdoor UV rated carpet. Brought the samples home and took some photos for you (see attachments).
The tan is $0.49/s.f. and the black was $0.75/s.f.

HTH.

Thanks Scott. I will go to Home Depot first chance I get to get samples. I live 50-60 miles from metro areas.....hell we have to drive 20 miles to buy shoe strings.
I went to Menards this w/e and picked up some samples..black, tan and believe it or not a green(car is Bristish racing green) I am going to see how they match or not match tomorow. Car is in my buddies heated floor shop for the winter projects. Do you know how hard it is to find a friend with heated floor 100 x 100 shop with all the tools you would ever need, and loves to work on hot rods.

Scott,
Which Home Depot - Chesterfield Valley, Manchester RD East or West?

Each store is different plan-o-gram and doesn't carry the same stuff.

Save me some gasoline, I'd like to see the tan

Paul
