I posted a recommendation here several years ago and it has worked very well (used it a couple times this summer when I had a bad Alternator ground).
Old post here: https://gatewaycobraclub.com/forum/threads/car-jump-starter.5763/

My son-in-law said he'd like one for Christmas, but they don't sell the one I originally bought anymore, so just asking if anyone has a more recent experience / recommendation with a newer version.

I bought my son this one and it's been working great

The NOCO brand is getting a lot of good press. You can see them on Amazon and Woot

Thanks for the suggestions. Paul, that's the one I was looking at, over 100k sold, good reviews.
I bought this one: NOCO Boost Plus GB40 1000A UltraSafe Car Battery Jump Starter, 12V Battery Pack, Battery Booster, Jump Box, Portable Charger and Jumper Cables for 6.0L Gasoline and 3.0L Diesel Engines

(Look at NOCO Boost XL GB50 1500 Amp for 427CI and/or high compression)

For the new guys, I highly recommend one for your Cobra! (and your Daily Driver), saved my butt a couple times (and when the wifey forgets to turn off the dome light

That's the one I have also.

Can I be your son so you can get me one too? I'll say Happy Fathers Day to you.

A 1000A, thats over 3 times the power of my battery. Going to start a train locomotive engine;)
