Wayne provided the attached registration for this year's Autocross.
Event will start @ 8:30am - 2:30pm, Sat 5/9 (5/10 is rain date, but be aware, it is also Mother's day!)
$50, entry deadline is 5/2/20.
Vehicle must be licensed, insured, and will be safety inspected. (see page 5 of attachment)

We will probably head down Friday (afternoon) 5/8 to arrive in time to check-in and drive to dinner, staying at Drury Inn & Suites, in Blue Springs. You can drive your car down (a couple of us have done this, myself included)
Al & Fran have again graciously invited us for BBQ, Margaritas, and fantastic desserts Friday evening!

This is a lot of fun and a great way to understand the handling of your car.
If you are on-the-fence about attending, please consider it and talk to some of the guys that have attended before.
THIS is not your typical parking lot auto-x event with parking barriers and light poles. This is a driving facility.

(not a bad idea to get it cross-balanced at Kent's Garage party too! and do a nut&bolt check on his lift.)

Please feel free to contact me with any questions.

Thanks for posting the information!

Due to Covid-19, this event is being cancelled. As you know, the event is held on a campus, and the campus notified them today that the school would be closed until 5/15. Due to other calendar events, they have decided to cancel at this time. Things could change, but, not likely.

Next year there are plans for a much larger event with the Mustang club that they will be working on that we can participate in.
