• For all members (past, current, and new)

THANK YOU ALL FOR HELPING TO GET THIS CLUB OFF THE STARTING LINE !!!

To begin your membership with Gateway Cobra Club please submit your vital information to our club registrar/Treasurer: Paul Proefrock

    Please include your:

Name, address, phone numbers (work, home, cell) e-mail, etc. Also, tell us about your Cobra (make, model, year, colors, engine, options, stage of build, etc.), where you bought it, any other particulars. Also include other vehicles, birthdays, your occupation & company, and any other details about you and you significant others. BTW - this info will not be posted on-line (EVER). It's just for us - to make the club better. We will eventually create a database for internal club use only.

We will begin collecting dues soon to enable the activities that we have planned for the year - so stay tuned for that.

FINALLY - get involved. Attend the meetings, schedule some cruises, and have some fun. We want to make this club fun (for the whole family). We're small (for now) but we're going to make a big noise here in St. Louis. In the end - this club will only be as good as our members participation.

Thanks for joining us - see you in the fast lane!

Hey all U guys who R "Junior" Members, (except Holly W/Tim's wife), I'm calling U guys OUT! What's up with NOT paying your membership dues? We need your loyalty & support. It's only 36 stinkn bucks, for crying out loud. After all, Carpe' Kid all the way from Lake Ozark ponied up his $36! Great Guy. Way to go Carpe'. Any replys from U "Junior" members would be appreciated. What about the rest of you guys who have paid your dues, how do U guys feel about this "issue?"

Hey.............................

Who Hijacked this thread? Come on guys back on subject here. What are we gonna do with these guys who need to pay their dues?:(:(:(

IMO, there are casual members and there regular members. Some folks just registered to see what this was all about. They may pop in once in a while to say hi or see what's going on or they may never come back again. I would start with a pm to those who haven't paid and explain the benefits of the club, our future plans and that we need their help. If that doesn't work, there's always tar and feathers.

Well Said Mikeyd!!!!!

UR approach is 100% better than mine. My approach is probably the wrong way to go & more
than likely will drive members away rather enticing them to see the benefits of joining in the camaraderie that we are so richly enjoying. U ROCK MICK! :D

I tend to agree with Mike....except for the tar and feather part. That should be limited to paying members who don't show up for the first annual GCC Southern Cruise tomorrow...:D Tim...are you listening...?

I have been in several car clubs in the past and there will always be active participants and those who have a passing interest...but do not participate.

If there are active participants who have not paid...then they need to ante up and we should "remind them" that benefits gained warrant responsibilities to support the club financially.

For those who lurk the forum but do not participate....I think we should offer the opportunity to join and if they choose not to do so...don't pursue it further. All we will accomplish is to alienate those with an interest in our cars.

My $.02...
