Calling all Austin, TX lovers...............

Hey Chuckster. I see we have something else in common besides fast cars. We both have spent time on 6th street in Austin & love Austin, TX. Love Zilker Park, Travis Lake & Lake LBJ. I was there for 2 years from 1971 to 1973 when I was stationed at Bergstrom AFB. Bergstrom is now Austin's muni airport. Austin was about 250K in pop. then is now I believe somewhere over 1mil. Anybody else love Austin or have Austin stories to share?
