* When the bomb was dropped on Hiroshima, there was a car idling at a stop sign at ground zero. The bomb went off far above the ground, but not as intended. The idling car was a big block and the Atomic bomb burst out of fear. Afterwards, the car was still idling.

* Since 1968, the year the mighty 429 Big Block was born, Small block related failures have increased 13,000 percent.

* When God said, "let there be light", a Big Block started. We now call it "the Sun".
 
* When Big Block owners send in their speeding tickets, they send in a blank form with a photo of their Big Block motor. The police understand and thank the owner they at least slowed down and stopped so the officer would not loose his job.
 
* Big Block inventors invented the entire spectrum of visible light, except the color pink. They had to let the small block inventor create something that wasn't a total failure.
 
* Faster than a speeding bullet... more powerful than a locomotive...able to leap tall buildings in a single bound... yes, these are some of a Big Block's warm-up exercises.

Gents,

We have smoke and noise!!!! The best sound I've heard in the past 10 months!!

Thanks to everyone that help out yesterday. I couldn't have gotten it done with out you!! Hopefully everything will be finished in time for Tuesday's meeting.

One More Thing

With all the BS going back and forth about why Big Blocks rule; which they do. I want to quote the current AT&T ad that says, "Bigger is Better"!
 
I like to let BB take the lead(makes them think they are important) because if a deer jumps out or even another car, they are so heavy and cumbersome they can just knock it out of my way.
