These botched ATF operations have been reported by multiple gun industry watch dogs including the NRA, but the information is just now reaching the drive-by media. The facts now being reported have the Justice department in CYA mode.

Re: ATF agents....my neighbor in Hoene Springs was a retired FBI agent in charge of the Bank Robbery Division out of the St. Louis office. Today he is a weapons instructor for the NRA's Law Enforcement Division. He is one of the most squared away individuals I have ever known in my life. At our home, shortly after the Waco Raid, he referred to ATF agents as "wannabees" and "cowboys" with some of the poorest investigational procedures of any domestic law enforcement agency.

These guys are wimps compared to 2 DEA agents and 1 Madison county sarg major I know. Here are 3 guys that don't put up with any sh-t both county and federal. And prey on the scum bags of today. 2 of them are retired marines and highly trained.
