Yep, looking forward to it!!! My brother has a big party in my hometown every year. We always pick a driver who we think will win the championship (along with alot of other gambling). Last year I picked Johnson and won, So Sunday I should pick up 17 cases of beer, or various bottles of liquor!!!!

Plus I have to root for the blue duece!!! Even though it is no longer a ford, and a Wallace doesn't drive it, and its not very good anymore! Wow I sound alot like a blues fan!
 
One of the Roush cars will win. Don't think it will be JJ as he is going to a backup car. Danica, she'll be in the Nationwide race, not the 500, but no, I don't expect her to finish that race. Watching the ARCA race, she obviously doesn't know about the draft or how to keep a heavy NASCAR from moving around. Will take some time for her I'm sure.
 
I'd like to see JR have a decent season. It would good for the sport. I'm always pulling for Smoke too.
 
Watched the Dual races today - Did you? No suprise winners, let's put it that way, but some of the best racing I've seen there in a while.
 
With all this interest in the 500, how about a bunch of getting tickets together for the nationwide series at Gateway this summer? I still talk to those guys quite a bit and we can get seats in the club house. That means free food and beer not to mention A/C. Any interest? I could check on prices.
 
I used to go all the time, was a fun race and always had a great time. I would be very interested. Maybe we could meet Danica :D Used to, they opened the garage area for everyone. I remember going there with my oldest son and seeing Randy LaJoie. Went up to him to get an autograph, and he invited us in to his trailer to have a look see. So cool and always like him for that. This was right after he won the Busch Series Championship, but he was just a regular joe. Bet Danica will be unaccessable :rolleyes:

Not sure who else is interested in the roundy - roundy racing.

I thought that they only ran the Truck race anymore at Gateway.

The doubleheader with the Nationwide and Truck series is July 16 and 17. Nationwide comes back October 23. Mark, why does that date seem familiar? Is that Supercruise weekend?
