Event #6 is Sunday if anyone would like to come out. It is going to be hot so bring some water. I need 2 more wins out of the 5 races to go to wrap up the championship for the year in XP class so this race is important. I finally have the tire pressures close and the car is much faster than before. Remember rides are free!

Keith are you going to make it in your new shiney roadster?

I am up in the air right now, have to swap out front rotors(have a warped one) and cut the spring down in the power steering pump to slow it down a bit. Been on a roof for the last three days and am just exhausted so nothing is getting done on the car right now, but there may be a chance to get it done by then.

Thanks. I am up and down and hope to see a doctor tomorrow. I hated to miss the racing today, the course sounded awesome. Last night was rough but have felt a little better this evening.

Gary told me Bill (in the Isuzu) finally broke down and bought some Hoosiers. He still could not hang with Gary on raw times, but Gary coned on both good laps.

The next event I can make is 14 August. Any Idea when your roadster will be track ready.

I could have run Sunday, I thrashed on the the car Saturday night trying to figure out why it wouldn't run passed 3000 rpm,, posted on the FFcars forum and Jeff Kleiner figured out that one of the wires on the TFI module had 12V constant rather than 12v start only and was retarding the timing.I wired it on the wrong side of my push button starter:mad: Good thing Jeff had the answer,I could have chased that problem for some time. So I got that fixed Sunday morning at 6 am and swapped out front rotors, took it out to check it out and it ran great. Now just need to slow down the steering a bit for street use.

Glad you got it worked out. I won't be in town for the event next weekend, but would love to see you show up and take the points away from my competitor. I beat him on street tires so you should also.

How is the balance on the car so far? Are you seeing some understeer?

Haven't really cornered it hard yet, but at normal speed its oversteering just a bit. Just getting a good feel for it now that I can accelerate thru the gears without it breaking up.I need to find some twisties close by and experiment .Really need to get on the brakes real hard and see how it reacts as well.
