A friend of mine in Mississippi has his AR for sale. From Steve: "$2,250 for all. It has Nikon p223 3-9 with mil dot adjustment. I can't remember what it's called exactly but you can adjust elevation and windage for long shots. Flip open covers, 11 30 rd and 1 10 rd magazine, 550 rounds of ammo, strap, carry case and a new grip I've never put on."

In January he might have gotten $1800 during the feeding frenzy...but not now.

Prices have dropped substantially at the shows and items that sold on Gunbroker for outrageous sums...are now getting no bids at 30% of the January prices.

5.56 Mags that sold for $70 in January are now available new for $10-$12.

Complete generic M4 rifles can be bought for $700 right now.

The rifle he has and the parts shown are all standard generic entry level parts. No premium parts are present.

Items that were out of stock for months...driving prices up....are now back in stock

The market has dropped and many have not kept abreast of the changes.

Sorry...but with the exception of ammo...the market has nearly returned to last years pre inflated prices.

Hope he is successful...but at the price he is asking... the only buyer he might find is someone who doesn't know what it is worth.
