Any cruises this week end july 4th

I have family in, doubt I will go out until Sunday afternoon, but would be willing to go then. I have some new found horsepower I need to test :D
 
Alton/Grafton may be in the cards for Sunday. Have to play it by ear - let's keep up using this thread.

What time Sunday? I'm supposed to meet with a client Sun. morn. @ 10:30am for trial prep but I could move that up a little to get to Alton in time. Will stay tuned. :):cool:
 
CAUTION: Mayfly Warning! Just saw newscast story about mayflys around the Missislopi. If they are thick Sun. your vehicle will be COATED in Mayfly/bug guts! :eek: May want to consider alternative route for Sun. cruise. :(
 
I talked to Ter. We are both IN. Sun. @ Noon @ Alton McD's. We can check out the Mayflys & if they are really bad we could exit the River road at Clifton Terrace road & head up to route 100 & other points beyond. I will plan some alternate routes & post hopefully later this eve. or we can kick some things around @ McD's before we head out. I'll bring my ILL map to McD's. Who else is in besides me, MikeW & Mark?

Thanks MikeW & your lovely wife, Mark & Madison & Terbear. Great time. That was the unofficial Madison Cruise. We took two ferry rides for Madison & she really seemed to have a good time. What a delightful & well mannered young lady she is. Mark & Lisa you must be very proud. Ok guys what's next? :D
