• For all members (past, current, and new)

THANK YOU ALL FOR HELPING TO GET THIS CLUB OFF THE STARTING LINE !!!

To begin your membership with Gateway Cobra Club please submit your vital information to our club registrar/Treasurer: Paul Proefrock

    Please include your:

Name, address, phone numbers (work, home, cell) e-mail, etc. Also, tell us about your Cobra (make, model, year, colors, engine, options, stage of build, etc.), where you bought it, any other particulars. Also include other vehicles, birthdays, your occupation & company, and any other details about you and you significant others. BTW - this info will not be posted on-line (EVER). It's just for us - to make the club better. We will eventually create a database for internal club use only.

We will begin collecting dues soon to enable the activities that we have planned for the year - so stay tuned for that.

FINALLY - get involved. Attend the meetings, schedule some cruises, and have some fun. We want to make this club fun (for the whole family). We're small (for now) but we're going to make a big noise here in St. Louis. In the end - this club will only be as good as our members participation.

Thanks for joining us - see you in the fast lane!

Bought my FFR kit (FFR2569) in March of 2001 got it registered September of 2004. Built the car myself with some help from friends. Did everything including body work but chickened out on spraying the paint. Had a friend spray it.

Car Options:
392/351W Engine from Ford Racing, Tremec 3550 Trans., IRS option. Paint - Ford Dark Shadow Grey w/ Silver Stripes. FFR Conv. top, 17" Fully Polished PSE Halibrand Style Wheels. Nitto Drag radials.

Average about 2,000 miles a year. Currently around 8,000 miles. Insured thru State Farm limiting me to 2,500 per year. Car registered in Illinois as 1965 replica with the recent SEMA & NSRA registration changes.

Welcome Jerry!
Glad you found your way here. Guys, I have cruised with Jerry in years past, beautiful first class car and a great guy to hang out with in London and at home.

Hey Tom,
Good to see you and Linda again last night. See ya soon.

Jerry,

Welcome to the club. Beautiful ride you have there. If Tom says it's first rate, then that's saying something. Looking forward to doing more stuff this summer. I'm the guy who was setting to your immediate right last night.

welcome JerryH my brother-n-law lives near Troy and the n-laws or near Maryville in Collinsville, been to that new winery yet in Maryville...
I like the color of your roadster,,;) how is that 392 stroker in it!!
sorry i don't have mine quite yet but soon i p/u in April and keep licking at the chops:eek:
going phsyco waiting, the build will be an experience the body probably will be painted
locally i have a few in mind, but i will probably do all the massaging on it and get it ready
for paint.............see ya and happy trails:D

TBull, I think we met somewhere before. Maybe last year at the Wentzville Carshow/Cruise that got rained out? Thanks for the compliment. I always look at other peoples car and tend to want to hide mine. LOL I try to keep the outside clean but seldom want to open the hood.

BigLeo, Haven't made it that winery in Maryville yet. Drive right by it all the time though. I have been to the one near Aviston, Il http://www.hiddenlakewinery.com/ Usually I'm the DD (designated driver) when we go to wineries, not much on wine but do like the atmosphere & scenery (outdoors and drunken bachelorette parties, what's not to like). Although a few wineries have now started Microbrewering, might have to find another DD for those trips. Also thanks for the compliment. Was going to go either silver w/ blk stripes or burgandy and white, went to a couple of London shows and decided on dark grey and silver. The 392 pulls pretty strong, the Nitto drag radials actually hook pretty good especially with the IRS. Good Luck on your build.

Jerry's car is first rate. He gave me my first ride in his cobra when I was contemplating my build.

Sorry I missed you last night! We'll catch up durring warm weather.
My wife loves going to Avistion winery, and I'm in the same predicament, I end up driving home. At lest it's pretty close.

Welcome aboard Jerry. Beautiful car, I don't think we have any others that color either :D See you after my car is back together.

i was at there open house and many bottles latter i couldn't get my thumb to move up or down:D
i think they need to do something there about the acoustics, sound bouncing of of all those hard surfaces. from the last big project i did on a theater and the sound system they could of spent some cash on acoustics. the person that owns it owns the Piasa winery.
i know a judge on your side of the river a very good man used to be a DA at the Eagleton
was in charge of crimes against children, i use to know his name but it escapes me, we see each other from time to time at the federal courthouse.
