America's Greatest Race Car

They are also posted in the coupe section of FFROG. Made it through the first 3. Its good.

I liked the history lesson. Unlike other Superformance cars (Mark 3 and GT-40) the coupe that Superformance makes under the Shelby name is considerably different from the original. It has a longer wheelbase and different suspension. Pete Brock was given a clean slate to design it, eliminating whatever he thought were flaws in the original design. The result is evidently quite easy to drive quite fast, unlike the Cobra. I have a friend with a mild 351 in his, and he is quite sure it will do 180. Pete Brock's personal car has a very strong SB 427 and he drove it cross country with his wife. It was tested in one of the car magazines and set a few records during the test.

Unfortunately it is NOT a convertible, and I'm sure the Cobra still turns more heads than the coupe. In other words, I'm not trading any time soon. I certainly cannot afford two fun cars!
